your visit!!
Spirit Week /
Homecoming
Calvary's high
school students showed their school spirit during the week of January 23-27.
It was a fun-filled week of "spirit days" which found the students dressed
in everything from camouflage to pirate gear! Friday was "school colors"
day and students geared up for the evening's festivities at an afternoon pep
rally!
Congratulations to our Varsity Boys and Girls Teams -- they each won their
game against Sumter Christian! And to our JV Team -- even though they
didn't come away with a victory, they played with lots of heart! Way to go!!
Congratulations to each of the young ladies that represented CCS on the 2005
Homecoming Court: 7th Grade Princess, Whitney Rebecca DelPriore; 8th Grade
Princess, Lauren Gross; 9th Grade Representative, Meredith Haynes; 10th Grade Representative,
Sara Smith; 11th Grade Representatives, Megan Bruner and Asheley Gregory; and 12th Grade
Representatives, Brittany Shaw and Bo Svay.
These ladies were presented after the game and Brittany Shaw was crowned our
2006 Homecoming Queen!! Megan Bruner was the 1st Runner-up and

you ladies representing Calvary Christian School!!

Spiritual Emphasis Days
Calvary's Spiritual Emphasis
Days are scheduled for October 24-26, 2005. We will have
special chapels for the elementary grades and more special services for the
high school.
This year in our Spiritual Emphasis Days, we
are going to ask our students to freely give up TV and worldly entertainment
for at least a few days while we ask God for His leading in our lives.
We will ask them to seek God's guidance in daily decision-making and
seriously consider what He would have them to do concerning every area of
their lives.
As a special treat for our students we will
have special lunches during the Spiritual Emphasis Days. Please see
menu below. Note: Tuesday's special is for grades 7-12 only.
Regular lunches will not be available. If your child does not want the
special lunch, he/she will need to bring his/her lunch that day.
Regular lunch for grades 1-6 will be available on Tuesday.
Special Lunches
Monday -- Spaghetti (Grades 1-12) $2.50
Tuesday -- Chicken Teriyaki (chicken bowl)
(Grades 7-12) $4.50
