Moms In Touch International™ is an organization that exists to encourage mothers to meet and pray regularly for children and their schools. Their vision is that every school in the world would be covered with prayer. Mary Fields, a mother whose children attend CCS, was introduced to this organization, "caught" their vision, and worked with another mom to begin "Calvary Christian Moms in Touch" in the summer of 2002. Here's a message from Mrs. Fields: MOMS IN TOUCH - PRAYING FOR CCS
We would like to
cordially invite all moms of students at Calvary Christian School to our
MOMS IN TOUCH prayer meeting. We meet to pray for our children,
school and teachers every Thursday morning from 8:15 to 9:15am at my
home (please call me at 215-3105 for directions). Our motto is “Calvary Christian Moms
in Touch - Praying the Difference.” Our purpose is to pray diligently for
our children and school using God’s Word and His promises and expecting
God to carry out His Word concerning them.
Faith in the Word of
God is powerful and the mountains in the lives of our children and school
can be removed by praying the promises of Scripture - God’s Word. We know
that you will be encouraged as you hear how God works in the lives of
children through prayers of their mothers. The Word of God is our most
powerful weapon against our enemy, Satan, and his attacks destroyed by the
power of the Living Word of God in the lives of our children. You can, along with us, experience first hand the joy of answered prayer and loving support that comes from praying with other moms in a Moms in Touch group. The real battle for our children’s lives is waged in prayer. It is never too late to start praying. We hope you join us!
