The Annual Auction and Fall Festival is our biggest fundraiser of the year ... and we need YOUR help to make it successful! The date of the auction is Friday, November 3, 2006. The Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 2006.

This year, we're having our "BIG" auction on the Friday evening before Fall Festival!  This will be an "Adults Only" Event that is planned as a special evening out for Mom & Dad!  Babysitting Services will be offered.  We will have dinner before the auction begins.  Tickets will be sold in advance. PLEASE NOTE that ALL items for auction will be sold on Friday evening, including the theme baskets for each class and the class pillows. There will be NO auction on Saturday. Our class pillows (K3 through Grade 6) will be "under construction" soon -- they promise to be a true keepsake for the lucky family that wins the bid!

On Saturday, we'll have our traditional fall festival fun!  We'll have game booths, prize booths, and all of the really great rides will be back again ... the moon bounce, the HUGE slide, the ROCK CLIMBING WALL, and even more surprises!  Bake sale and concession items will be yummy, as always. 

Here are some ways YOU can help now:

AUCTION

Gather items for our auction!  Contact area businesses, using this letter* and tax "receipt," asking them to donate to our auction.  Gift certificates, golf packages, spa items, and weekend retreats always sell well!

FESTIVAL BASKETS

Every year each class does a "theme" basket to sell at the auction.  Ask your child's teacher what the class theme is and donate an item to the basket.

CLASS BOOTHS

Each year at the festival, every class has a special game booth.  Sign up with your child's teacher to work a shift in the booth.

RIDES

We are seeking sponsorships in the amount of $300 for each ride.  We will place a sign by each ride showing your sponsorship and give your company special recognition in our auction booklet.  This is a great opportunity to show your support for Calvary Christian School and to get your company some great publicity!

We will hold this opportunity open to companies affiliated with the school until October 6, 2006.  After this date, we will offer this opportunity to local businesses.  Please contact David Perritt at 283-5317 to sign up.

It's over.  We're exhausted.  But, Praise God, Fall Festival 2003 was a terrific success!!

This year's Fall Festival was really wonderful!  God blessed us with beautiful weather.  He provided generous sponsors, contributors, and workers.  The kids had fun at the booths and on the rides, folks won terrific auction items, ate yummy baked goods and concessions, and we made a few dollars for the school in the process.  It was truly a time of "coming together" for the Calvary family.  To God we give all the glory!
