Each year in March, students from Calvary Christian School participate in
the
South Carolina Association of Christian Schools (SCACS) Elementary and
High School Fine Arts Festivals. Performances and entries to the
festival will be evaluated by qualified judges, given creative comments,
and awarded certificates for attaining superior or excellent scores.
There is a participation fee of $5.50 for each event.
THE ELEMENTARY FESTIVAL
The
Elementary Fine Arts Festival is an annual one-day event and is hosted by
one of the schools in our conference.

THE HIGH SCHOOL FESTIVAL
The
High School Fine Arts Festival is an annual three-day event and is hosted by
one of the schools in our conference.
High School Events
Throughout the school year, students in grades 1-12 have the opportunity to
prepare for competition in a variety of disciplines, including vocal solos
and ensembles, piano, violin, woodwinds, handchimes, photography, arts and crafts, speech, and much more.
Our annual spelling bee and piano competition helps to determine which
students will represent Calvary at the
SCACS event.
We are always proud of our students' achievements at these festivals.
It is not unusual for CCS to have a student "showcased" in the festivals
awards program and, often times, students from CCS even advance to
competition at the national level!
