Before your child learns the ABC's and 1-2-3's, there's a critical area of
development that can have a lifelong impact. If lost, it may never be
recaptured. It's music education, and it can be vitally important to a
young child's total development. Research shows us that music helps
build a child's self-confidence, enhances complex reasoning skills, and
focuses listening skills. How
can you make sure your child is gaining all the benefits of early music
education? With Kindermusik!
Kindermusik International has more than 25 years of experience creating
curricula based on new and proven research in child development. The
award-winning books, CDs, games, and instruments nurture the whole child.
In
a Kindermusik class, trained and licensed educators lead a group of children
(and/or their parents) through joyful activities, using music and movement.
The learning process continues at home, guided by specially designed books,
CDs, and games.
A
Kindermusik
"graduate" is a child eager for instrumental lessons, ready to sing in a
choir, join in music classes or an ensemble, and already experimenting with
reading and writing the universal language of musical notation.

GRADES K3 AND K5
Kids call it fun. We call it learning!

ABC Music & Me™ is a unique music enrichment program created by
Kindermusik International that will help your child develop confidence,
coordination, creativity, self-control, and appreciation for all future
music study and enjoyment. Children attend 30-minute classes each week
for thirty weeks.
Your materials will include family guides that highlight the skills your
child is developing in class, activities to do together at home, and stories
to share with the entire family. Students will also receive CDs to
listen to at home that include all of the songs, rhymes, and stories from
class and connects the parent musically to the activities that the child has
been enjoying. The instruments your child will receive will help
develop his motor skills and creativity!
GRADE K4
Music Box™ is a developmentally appropriate curriculum for musical
learning that incorporates vocal development, movement, listening, creative
expression, and early instrumental experience. Children attend
30-minute classes each week for thirty weeks.

Tapping out rhythms on sticks, shaking jingle bells, moving and singing are
all part of your child's play in the Music Box world each week.
Your child will benefit from valuable musical experiences that reinforce
concepts such as numbers, colors, shapes and letters. With Music
Box, fun and learning go hand in hand!

You can share in your child's fun because
Music Box comes home, too! Each semester your child receives a
"Music Box" in which to keep a CD of the songs used in class, songbooks,
special materials used in class, parent cards, and stickers for your child's
use in decorating the box. Plus, every week you'll receive a summary
of what was experienced in class and suggestions for continuing activities
at home.
GRADES 1-2
Listen as your child astonishes you with her newfound ability to create
musical compositions. Kindermusik for the Young Child®
allows children to explore the world of music -- speaking and singing,
moving, listening, playing percussion instruments, and learning about
writing and reading music. Children attend 60-minute classes each week
for thirty weeks.

Throughout the Young Child program,
you will build your own library of four CDs (over 300 tracks of
professionally recorded music), a myriad of activities, four song books, and
three high-quality instruments (glockenspiel, dulcimer, and recorder).
Children also receive their own carry bag, activity folders, stickers and
Music at Home cards.

As
you witness the Kindermusik experience, you may reach the same conclusion as
tens of thousands of other parents: you can make no wiser investment
in the future of your child!
