Here's some of the fun we had during the '03-'04 school year! Enjoy
your visit!!
"Mini" Cheerleading Camp
The CCS Cheerleaders are doing something new this year: they are holding a
"Mini" Cheerleading Camp and are offering participants -- "Junior
Cheerleaders" -- an opportunity to cheer with them at our last home game.
All girls in grades 2-5 are eligible to participate. Girls will attend
two "Cheerleading Camp" practice days, sit with the CCS Cheerleaders during
the game, and perform with the Cheerleaders at half-time of the Girls
Varsity and Boys Varsity games. For all the details, visit the
Girls
Cheerleading web page.
5th Grade
Holds Annual Character Dress Up Day
On February 2, students in Mrs. Cannone's fifth grade class had their annual
character dress-up day. The children prepared by reading a biography
about a person in history and preparing an oral report to present to the
class. Then, on the designated day, they came to school dressed as
that character. This year, we had Abe Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, George
Washington, Abigail Adams, and many others from history. This is
always a highlight of the year and the boys and girls love it!
