1st Annual
Patriot
Invitational
Patriot Boys Claim The Championship; Girls Place Second
Calvary Christian School was excited to host the 1st Annual Patriot Invitational
during the 2003-2004 school year! Varsity boys and girls basketball teams from four schools participated: Conway Christian, Maranatha, North Myrtle Beach
Christian, and Calvary Christian. The tournament was held Friday, December 5,
and Saturday, December 6, in the CCS Gymnasium. We're so proud of our
Patriot teams -- our boys claimed the championship and our girls placed a proud
second! Here are the complete results:

Maranatha beat Conway even as Conway's Will Duncan led all scorers with 25
points. |

Beach 26: Meagan Schlude scored 19 points and pulled down 17 rebounds to
lead Calvary to the championship game. |

Beach 20: Chad Mitchell and Whitfield Howard both scored 12 points for
Calvary. Calvary advanced to the championship game. |
