Hey-

I just wanted to give everyone a little update on Me and Josh.  We are finally home.  We decided that after 4 years and 2 deployments, we were ready to come home and be a family again.  We had a ball and would not trade our time in the service for anything.  We pray for our men and women still in the service every day.  Ooh Rah Marine Corp!!!!!

We now live in Myrtle Beach in our home, and still no little ones, but have added one more dog to the family.  I guess you could say that we do have kids, just of the 4 legged variety!!  We love them like crazy.  Hope that everyone else is doing great and can't wait to see you all, Mandi

I have been married now for two years, to my wonderful husband Joshua Shoemaker. He is a Corporal in the United States Marine Corp. We are stationed in San Clemente California on board Camp Pendleton. We have been here now for almost two and a half years.

We have had a great experience, but cannot wait to be back on the East coast. He is waiting to go on a ten month deployment in August of this year. After his first enlistment is up, we plan to come back to South Carolina. He wants to go to Beaufort, South Carolina to become a Drill Instructor at Parris Island.

We have no children, but we do cherish the time with each other and our beloved pet Pitt bull, Chino. She keeps me in good spirits when Josh is away from home.

We miss our family very much, but keep in touch through email and phone calls, as they still reside in South Carolina. As for myself, I am a house wife, kept busy by the many things that I need to do to keep my family running smoothly.
